Buried in an article from The Inquirer is a promising tidbit that the Delaware River Port Authority will move forward with a feasibility study on reopening long-defunct Franklin Station at 6th and Race Street. They've paid $12,500 to a consulting firm to "examine population growth in Old City and Northern Liberties, and ridership estimates." This could get interesting. [The Inquirer, Photo: Philly Bricks]
