Thirty-Thousand Cars Drive By—Right on By—Every Day.

New, 3 comments

Jacobs Realty Group, which bought and rehabbed the Shops at Paoli Town Center, is pushing the property on its blog, trying to persuade potential businesses that the strip of stores is in a high-traffic area (30,000-plus cars per day) "creating visibility for all tenants." But visibility may be all there is. Conventional wisdom about this part of Lancaster Avenue is that businesses can't thrive because there's no public parking. The Paoli Town Center strip is, however, directly across the street from the SEPTA regional rail station, so commuters would be a natural customer base. Businesses selling bulky items that won't squeeze onto a train should probably set up shop elsewhere.
