As Cole Porter might have said, Did you ever? This is an enormous price chop for a Gladwyne mansion that was featured in MTV's Teen Cribs' second season. Samantha Pouls—whose bat mitzvah theme was "Juicy Couture Meets Marie Antoinette"—was the teen in question. She had her own dressing room—faithfully cleaned by a maid—and an ice cream parlor, and enjoyed her home's indoor pool, observatory and elevator. The home was built 14 years ago for $22 million.
Unfortunately, the happy life Samantha lived with her parents—real estate developer Michael Pouls and homemaker wife Sheryl—became the subject of a mini scandal, and the family decided to leave town (though not necessarily because of the scandal). Whereupon this house went up for sale, and has not sold. Given the current price cut, we'd say the seller is getting motivated.
