Snow-Covered Fairmount Mansion Is Ready for Its Close-up

Something about this incredibly charming bi-level one bedroom two blocks from the Art Museum says, "home to a quirky protagonist of a network TV comedy/drama series." Maybe it's the private roof deck with the skyline view where the girls (or the bros) discuss so-and-so's questionable dating history over too many glasses of Pinot (or PRODUCT PLACEMENT beer). Maybe it's the working gas fireplace in the living room, which is obviously the setting for that scene where they finally make out.

Either way, the exterior of this building, a historic mansion converted into seven separate apartment units, is gorgeous—especially when covered in snow. It's also a block away from the infamous Bergdoll Mansion . But it's that roof deck that could have prospective renters scheming to outwit each other to win the lease—a good secondary plot line for the TV series' pilot episode. HIJINX WILL ENSUE!

Size: 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath, 825 square feet.
Features: Working gas fireplace, laundry in unit, central air/heat (kind of a big deal in when you're on the third and fourth floor of an old building in Fairmount).
Extras: Wall-mounted flatscreen TV in bedroom. Also, ROOF DECK.
Price: $1,650 per month
