The Georges Perrier Estate Sale

New, 1 comment

Yesterday, we spotted the above low-profile ad on Craigslist for an estate sale at famed Philadelphia chef Georges Perrier's Chestnut Hill home. (Note the mention of the chef's-style copper pots. We bet the cookware at the sale was phenomenal.) Does the sale mean that Perrier, late of Le Bec-Fin, may have finally found a buyer for his 9,000-square-foot Chestnut Hill home at 8872 Towanda Street? The property was taken off the market in October after a rough go: It was up for sale for more than a year and had to go through one significant price chop of $150,000. The last asking price was $2.5 million.
