Today marks the city's annual Homeless Memorial Day, which pays tribute to all the homeless and formerly homeless Philadelphians who died this year. The issue was especially fraught in 2012, from Occupy Philly and the Barnes' arrival to the mayor's feeding ban. The memorial gathering begins at 4:30 today at Thomas Paine Plaza, 1401 JFK Boulevard.
