Hint: This Isn't Too Far From the Now Closed Forum Theatre

Cornerspotter is a Curbed Philly feature in which we show you a historical photo taken somewhere in the city and you identify the location. Impress fellow Curbed readers with your knowledge by leaving guesses in the comments or send them to our tipline: philly@curbed.com. And hey: no cheating!

Here's a street with two movie theaters, featured today in honor of the new possibility opened up by the closure of Market Street's Forum Theatre. This photo was taken in 1959, when a local movie theater screened a Western starring Rita Hayworth and Gary Cooper. It was a forgettable film playing in a forgettable building, in a sense, given that the theater—and the other one down the street—are very much gone by now.

Where were these movie houses?
