Market East

The New York Times ran an article yesterday about Market East and its development as a "digital district," which we like to think of as a mini Times Square that will now have a Marshalls. According to the Times, much of the new optimism around the area comes from the arrival of Philadelphia Media Network, owner of the Inky, DN and philly.com. Rumors that the papers are getting bought out aren't addressed, maybe because the lease is already signed. That means reporters will be lunching at the Gallery food court, come what may. [NYT]
