On Friday, the Mural Arts Program (MAP)'s Director of Mural Operations & Restoration Seth Turner went to the house near 21st and Ellsworth to see what's happening with the construction there. The Keith Haring mural on that building is Turner's favorite, so he went to investigate quickly after MAP received calls from neighbors. The contractor working on the house assured Turner they are not going to stucco over the mural; they're just doing some repair work. The house is gutted now and is being flipped. MAP head Jane Golden says they will be keeping their eye on any subsequent development. [Curbed Inbox]
