Tina Fey, This One's for You

New, 1 comment

It seems the universe is conspiring to make us write about Upper Darby Township. First we saw Upper Darby Tina Fey native on The View, trying to clarify the enigmatic comments her 30 Rock co-star Alec Baldwin made about maybe leaving the show. Then former SNL cast member and Upper Darby native Cheri Oteri played Barbara Walters at a Variety Club Gala in Philly last week along with Joe Piscopo and Victoria Jackson. (Suffice to say her life is less exciting than Fey's these days.) And then yesterday we got the news about Dick Clark, who used to live in Drexel Hill. The stars, as they say, have aligned. We found this house that's relatively new to market, and found it rather charming. Lots of light, woodsy area, working fireplaces, huge tub. Here are the details:

Size: 4 bedrooms, 3.1 bathrooms, 2,473 square feet
Outdoors: Enclosed front porch, rear deck, patio, 1.2 woodsy acres with creek views
Parking: 2-car garage
Pastoral/historical/preservationist bonus: Property is adjacent to Collen Brook Farm
Price: $339,900
· Listing: 1032 Mansion Ave., Drexel Hill [Century 21]
