Prepare yourselves: The Philly Blue Book is turning Indigo. The Bailey and Biddle buildings on 12th Street and Chestnut and Sansom, respectively, will be combined into a Hotel Indigo. The hotel will be part of the InterContinental Hotels group, the parent company of Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Candlewood Suites, Staybridge Suites, Crowne Plaza and, of course, Hotel Indigo. The Indigo is in many cities in the U.S. and abroad, but each one looks a little different. We put together a gallery of Indigo facades in Chelsea (NYC), Boston, midtown Atlanta and downtown Chicago to give you an idea of how InterContinental handles urban development. What do you think? Are we happy about this? Let us know in the comments.
