Now that Foxwoods' bid for Philly's second gaming license has been definitively nixed by the state, it's anyone's game. Obviously, Bart Blatstein would like very much to have it, but Parkway Corp.'s Robert Zuritsky may apply for the license too. The parking lot magnate has a spot on North Broad (across from Blatstein's proposed site) that's one possibility. Ken Goldenberg is also looking into such matters for a complex he's developing nearby. The field will only get more crowded if the state House decides to open the bidding to the rest of Pa. Anyone prepping their wheatpaste for a NIMBY battle can relax for now. This is all going to take a loooong time. [Inquirer]
