On Mon., April 16, Next American City magazine will go online-only with two different kinds of offerings. The first is a redesign of the current website, americancity.org. The other will be called Forefront, which will be a forum for long-form journalism about urban affairs. The original website will now bring in "urbanist" news partners from across the country so the site will serve as a portal for national conversation about urban planning, policy and economic development, among other city-related concerns. The website content will be free, while a subscription to Forefront will cost $17.88 per year. We'll keep you posted about launch-related events. [Curbed Inbox]
