Where Should Colin Farrell Rent While He's in Philly?

New, 7 comments

The Irish actor is in town shooting a movie, and is reportedly looking for a place to rent. Does he want to go incognito and rent a palace on the Main Line, like Will Smith? Or stay in town? He seems like he'd be more inclined to stay in Center City, especially given the fact that he was seen working out at the Sporting Club at the Bellevue. He doesn't seem to be afraid of paparazzi, so he could probably put on a hat and go to neighborhood watering holes to chat with the locals. (Might we suggest a visit with legendary bar/restaurant owner Fergie? Also from Ireland, also friendly in a grouchy kind of way. Or is it grouchy in a friendly kind of way? Tough call.)

But if you're going to stay in Center City, Colin (may we call you Colin?), we recommend a building with good security and a location that's convenient to good bars, food and late-night revelry without being the Most Obvious Place for Colin Farrell to Stay.

Our pick: The Murano
Rent: $6,000/month
Location: Technically in the center of things, but kind of not. The building was supposed to be the new hot spot for celebrities, but it hasn't really worked out that way. No one will expect Collin Farrell to be at 21st and Market.
Why it's good for a movie star: If you find you can't go out because you're getting recognized, you won't get claustrophobic. This apartment is 1,800 square feet on two levels with 18-foot floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto the city.
Amenities: 24-hour concierge, fitness center, pool
· Listing: 2101 Market St., #602 [Sotheby's]

Murano Towers

2101 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103
