York North Apartments, which calls itself YONO—because North Philly is so much like Dumbo or Soho—has been doing the hard sell on Craigslist. The amenities are plentiful in these ads. Some of them are legitimately appealing. Others are simply words on a screen ("elevator"). But when you put it all together, it's like the Symphony House for kids—if Symphony House were right near the Olney Transportation Center. So here's the breakdown. Rent includes: all utilities; cable TV; high-speed Internet; fitness center; shuttles to Temple Main and Temple Medical six times a day; "penthouse lounge" with snack machines, a massive TV with Blu-ray, pool table, air hockey, ping-pong, and poker table; two laundry rooms; 24-hour security; business center with color copying; onsite cafe; and courtyards for hanging out.
Prices start at $770 for studios and go up to $2,100 for 3 bedrooms.
