Here's the former Industrial Trust, Title & Savings Co./PNB or what's familiarly known as the "bank building." It's now owed by the Women’s Community Revitalization Project (WCRP), which proposes to develop it into affordable green housing called the Nitza Tufino Townhouses. It sounds like it's going to happen, but jeez, the controversy surrounding this area just makes a person want to go back to bed. The Council meeting yesterday may have gone a long way in resolving the whole mishmash, but no matter what happens, that building is coming down. Sure is purty for the the moment, though.
