Drum Roll, Please...and the Answer Is N. Judson!

Cornerspotter is a Curbed Philly feature in which we show you a historical image of the city and you identify it. Here's the answer to this week's puzzler.

What the street looked like then:

The intersection is North Judson Street, between Brandywine and Pennsylvania Avenue. Our big winner this week is Jared Brimfield, who's lived in Philly since 2008 in the Fairmount and Spring Garden areas.

"We fell in love with this area because of the proximity to Center City, Ben Franklin Parkway, and Fairmount Park," he says. "I run around this neighborhood a lot, which is a great way to become familiar with the happenings in the area. This is one of my favorite blocks because this particular block is tiny, but it inexplicably takes a 90 degree halfway through. I would consider this quirky and quaint block a hidden gem in the neighborhood. Sadly, from the pic it looks like we lost some interesting buildings to the Parkway Village condominiums."

Congrats, Jared! You'll now be the lucky recipient of a historic Philly postcard.
