Neighborhood Namings

Philebrity has a reader submission of an anonymous flier that takes up the question of gentrification/economic development (depending on your point of view) in Point Breeze. This one attacks "newcomers" who want to change part of the neighborhood's name from Point Breeze to Newbold—a change that was first suggested probably a decade ago. The flier claims the Newboldian newcomers don't want to deal with African-Americans, Asian-Americans or Latinos, to which Philebrity says, "And the race card is drawn in the Point Breeze vs. Newbold debate."
