This is the John H. McClatchy Building at SEPTA's 69th Street terminal, which has to be a juxtaposition McClatchy, an Upper Darby real estate developer, would be surprised by. As you can see—and as you've probably noticed if you've lived in the area for long—it's just an exquisite building, and it represents so much of what we love about Philly: Just when you think soulless, boring chain America has taken over, you look up and discover sometimes-sly, sometimes-overwhelming moments of architectural beauty. That's why it's sad to see people in Philadelphia walking with their heads down or rushing to the train. Look up, everyone, if only for a second. There's so much to see!
