The film Alpha Girls, which is a black comedy about sorority girls who are into the dark arts, was filmed in Philly. Judging by the trailer and the production diary on Tumblr, the city plays a starring role. The girls in pink sweaters file past the Chinatown arch. They run down Camac Street. They fondle an Isaiah Zagar wall. They emerge from a Philly subway stop. And is that the Foodery in one shot? The video is kinda NSFW due to an enormous amount of fake blood that spatters everywhere, and also Ron Jeremy's presence as a priest. Apparently, Jeremy accounted for half the film's budget even though he never takes his clothes off. What a life.
