The School District of Philadelphia put up a fence at the bottom of the steps from the train station on Midvale Ave. They put it up to protect the public from the possible danger due to a large piece of their stone wall that could break off and crush a sidewalk pedestrian. However, in putting up the fence, they now force people to walk in the street because they did not allow enough space for people to walk safely. The SDP has been notified of this problem and it has persisted for at least 3 weeks.
