Nerd Scalper Event: Architectural Walking Tours

On Saturday the Preservation Alliance is offering two Victorian architectural walking tours—one on Victorian Philadelphia West of Broad, and one on Victorian Washington Square West. On Sunday you can take the Society Hill Stroll, which—if you don't know much about Society Hill's origins—is certain to surprise since the area's character as it is now didn't really exist until the mid-20th century, when planners made a deliberate effort to transform it.
