Rather Pretty Loft for Rent in Olde Kensington/NoLibs

New, 2 comments

This space is pleasing, isn't it? With the stained glass doorways inside; the worn, somewhat uneven hardwood floors; the 12-foot ceilings—and 1,400 square feet is nothing to sneeze at. Of course, neither is the price: $1,600 per month. The loft is in an old warehouse building, and looks drafty but has zoned heating. The listing notes that 3rd Ward, a Brooklyn-based co-working space, will open a Philly outpost later this year right down the block. That is indeed a huge selling point, as is the vitality of the neighborhood, which you might call Olde Kensington or you might call Northern Liberties. Depends who you want to be that day.
