AVI: Probably Not Happening But Let's Be Fearful Anyway

The headline reads: "Landlords might raise rent to cover property tax hikes"—which would be rather unpleasant for renters. Though Doron Taussig's intro to the "It's Our Money" report concedes that the AVI plan's "chances of passage this year now appear slim," the segment nonetheless examines potential AVI fallout because we can't help ourselves. Emma Jacobs reports that rental properties will get no exemptions and landlords are worried. We're worried too, except maybe we shouldn't be worried until next year.
