A former councilwoman in Asbury Park, NJ, wants an ordinance enforced that was probably passed in the 19th century when the town was founded by a Methodist Episcopal bishop. It requires beachgoers to put clothes on once they hit the boardwalk, which she feels will class up the joint considerably. "I understand that social things have changed," the councilwoman told a reporter. "But forget that. Just put a shirt on." [Star-Ledger via Newsworks]
