Everyone is so confused about the city's proposed property tax reassessment plan that even though it hasn't happened and may not happen, there are already meetings and loopholes and other advance plans. At the June 11 meeting of the East Falls Community Council, a rep from the Office of Property Assessment will speak to attendees. Questions to be answered: What are the chances of the plan passing this year? Will taxes be raised in East Falls, Manayunk and Roxborough? What about that Homestead Exemption? This rep should go to every community meeting in the city. [Philly Speaks]
