Philly Receives Award From Jonathan Crowley's Hair

The Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation (GPTMC) received one of Travel + Leisure's SMITTY Awards for Best Use of a Social Media Platform for tourism promotion. In the case of Philly, the award was for GPTMC's presence on Foodspotting, "one of the first tourism boards with a presence on [on the site], launching guides to the city’s culinary highlights." Judges included Foursquare's Jonathan Crowley, whose hair, we believe, pointed the way to the winners. [Travel + Leisure]
