A Philly-based business-oriented reality show called Startup Beach House has been put on hold due to fear and loathing associated with Snooki and her boozy friends. The show would have gathered five teams of entrepreneurs in a Jersey shore beach house, but landlords in both Avalon and Stone Harbor backed out of a lease with the group as soon as news stories compared the project to Jersey Shore. It sounds like the show would have been pretty tame—how crazy would business-minded startup nerds get?—but we won't know for sure until 2013, when they'll try again to find a house.
