After four years of renovations, during which the entire collection was reinstalled and the grounds were considerably enlivened, the Rodin Museum is now open for visitors. And just in time, too. With the Barnes Foundation's Philadelphia move, the city has embarked on a dogged campaign to woo tourists to see the city's artistic treasures, and the Rodin collection has always been an integral part of that experience. The interior has been retrofitted aesthetically to bring it back to 1929, when the museum opened. Like the Barnes in Philadelphia, the Rodin's alterations provide more light so the sculptures can be seen better. Photographed, too.
