NIMBY Alert: Walmart Edition

Mount Laurel, NJ, residents are not sufficiently persuaded by discount 20-packs of Scott toilet paper to embrace the plans for an 89,000 square-foot Walmart Super Store near Fellowship Road, which could be approved by August 9. Worries about property values and traffic top the list of objections, though aesthetics have also been discussed. Hard to imagine making a Walmart pretty, especially when it'll be sandwiched between a Bob Evans restaurant and a Red Roof Inn. [Courier Post]
