Must-See HGTV: Rittenhouse Grande on "House Hunters"!

It's always so much fun when Philly shows up on national TV, especially when it's not about the murder rate or pedophile priests. Come July 19th, HGTV's popular "House Hunters" program will feature Bill and Antonio, who decide to buy a house in downtown Philadelphia "on a whim."

However, one wants modern and the other wants quaint. Even with a $2 million budget, their vastly different tastes in homes are going to make this a difficult search. Well, of course it's going to be difficult. Otherwise there wouldn't be a show. One of the featured properties on this episode, supposedly, is the Rittenhouse Grande at 19th and Spruce. Once a music school, the building is now divided into four condos. There's a raw space on the top floor currently one for sale for $1.3 million, which suggests the building was well within Bill and Antonio's budget. Do they live there now? You'll have to watch to find out.
