"Lord knows that poor old Point Breeze has not been having what you’d call an enjoyable gentrification. Whereas neighborhoods like Fishtown and NoLibs and East Passyunk have been content enough to say, “Well, how about we let whatever rage we have about this just be taken up by salty looks and indigenous young men stealing iPods and calling the newbs various gender-slurs?,” over in Point Breeze, it’s gotten heady, and heavy. Neighbor against neighbor. Race and class cards thrown like dice. Disagreements about what to call the place at all. Is there anything, many have wondered, that can bring this community together?"
