Former mayor and police commish Frank Rizzo still engenders heated debate, which we know because the Rizzo mural in the Italian Market was vandalized this weekend. Black paint was thrown on his face and the word "fascista"—which refers to Italians who worked on the side of Mussolini—was written on the wall. Facebook comments in response to the story about the vandalism demonstrate how the topic remains polarizing.
