Welcome to Racked Philly, where we'll report on retail and fashion comings and goings around town. See a store open, close, or otherwise claim your attention? Hit the tipline, and we'll get right on it.

Northern Liberties' 2nd Street Festival returns this weekend with seven city blocks of live music, food, general merriment, and of course, shopping. Now in its fourth year, the block party-style event promises to be bigger and better than ever, so you better go in with a gameplan if you want to get the most out of your day.

Arcadia Boutique will lure shoppers through the door with complimentary cocktails and a new shipment of vintage clothing. Also on the docket? A trunk show featuring Sultana Aschim Jewelry. The local jewelry designer crafts eye-popping necklaces using materials like upcycled bullet casings, semi-precious stones, crystals, feathers, and unique findings.

For more handmade jewelry, seek out the booth belonging to Moon & Arrow and Canoe Crafts. You'll find metal necklaces and earrings that feature geometric shapes, plus bohemian-inspired jewelry, and more.

Stop by 611 Lifestyle's booth to check out the latest apparel and gear from local DJ Nigel Richards. The Philly-inspired line offers tees, tanks, accessories, bags, and more for both men and women.

For more tees and tanks, track down Duke & Winston's booth. Pick up a top from D&W's popular Beach Town collection, and don't pass over the brand-new addition to the D&W line: Silk neck ties featuring D&W's signature bulldog logo.

In the market for a locally made and designed messenger bag for your morning commute? Find Reload Bags and peruse their selection of bags, hip pouches, laptop and iPad sleeves, caps, and bike accessories. The bags and accessories are crafted from durable ballistic nylon and waxed canvas, with a wide selection of designs and colors.

The 2nd Street Festival is from noon-10 p.m., this Sunday, August 5.
