All hail the weekend! Celebrate the end of the work week by shopping the Midtown Village Sidewalk Sale, and take advantage of limited-time discounts on designer clothes at Adresse.
The annual Midtown Village Sidewalk Sale returns this Friday, August 10, as Midtown Village boutiques showcase their wares outside, along the sidewalks of South Thirteenth Street, between Chestnut and Sansom. From 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Scarlet Fiorella, Duross & Langel, Paper on Pine, Open House, and Verde will offer savings on summer items, from stationery and jewelry, to handmade soaps and housewares. And the discounts will be big: Verde and Open House promises savings of up to 50 percent, while Scarlet Fiorella will offer 20 percent of jewelry from local designer Sultana Aschim during a special trunk show. Be sure to shop early as the best finds go fast.
The forecast is calling for temps in the mid-eighties during the sidewalk sale, but in the retail world, autumn is already upon us, and Adresse has the fall arrivals to prove it. Next season's collections are already beginning to trickle into the Rittenhouse boutique, from designer labels like Stella McCartney, Bouchra Jarrar, Proenza Schouler, and The Row. Shopping tip: Adresse is the only store in the Philly area to shop The Row, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's high-end clothing label.
Need another reason to shop? Adresse is currently holding an End of Summer Sale, with a selection of its designer duds marked down by as much as 75 percent. Score savings on apparel from Stella McCartney, Chloe, Jenni Kayne, Proenza Schouler, and Rupert Sanderson. Even sweeter, shoppers can take an additional 20% off the already reduced prices, now through August 15.
