It's the never-ending saga of Finnigan's Wake. The blustery restaurant and bar wants balconies. Civic groups oppose the balconies. The mayor opposes the balconies but City Council supports the balconies (not literally, sadly). The latest legislative pro-balcony vote is, says Northern Liberties Neighborhood Assocation prez Matt Ruben, a way for City Council to send a message to the mayor to stay out of their business.
