DesignPhiladelphia 2012, a week of design-related talks, exhibits, parties and musicals (if only), will feature the slideshow presentation Fast Forward, during which participants will have just 20 slides, and 20 seconds per slide, to answer this question: What's next for the city of Philadelphia? Curbed Philly's Joe McNulty will present our answer, or at least our proposition that Philadelphia's next challenge—and opportunity—will be resolving the tension between top-down and bottom-up approaches to design.
