And frustratingly, complaints about the new system (as evidenced by the two links above) do not provide a reasonable alternative in any detail. Nevermind that the "Show-Me Institute" is a libertarian economic think tank. Centralizing control over publicly owned vacant land generally helps rationalize a system, something we clearly need.
