Volunteer for a Math Project Even If Your SAT Scores Were Lousy

If you like the idea of promoting an eco-friendly transportation culture but don't ride a bike because competing with Philly drivers seems like Death Race 2012, you can still do your part tomorrow night. The Bicycle Coalition needs volunteers to count bicycles in Center City, on the Schuylkill bridges, in South Philly, in Northern Liberties and in West Philadelphia. It's a very popular project, so register quickly for the volunteer orientation if you're interested. Tomorrow night's session should be especially good because the city's Active Transportation Coordinator will be there to tell everyone about new bike-friendly initiatives and answer questions.
Wednesday, September 5th
