We Heart Biking As Much As E.T.

The results are in from the I Bike PHL Challenge, which spurred area residents to get on their bikes this summer. The city did pretty well. A total of 1,036 riders rode 352,000 miles—the equivalent of biking to the moon and halfway back, like E.T. but with cooler bikes. Of 629 communities entered nationally, Philly came in 71st.
