It's all about reversals in this case. An L&I Review Board granted a stay of execution for the historic Church of the Assumption on Spring Garden, pending a consideration by the Historical Commission. Duly considered. The Commission found that the current owners are, in fact, permitted to demolish the structure because of excessive financial burden. Sound terrible?
