Given how much it would cost to buy in this building, the monthly rent—$4,250—isn't so bad (and it was just reduced, too). Technically a one-bedroom, this 1,200-square-foot apartment also has a den, as well as two bathrooms. And the amenities are good: there's the "white glove" concierge, a game room (no beer pong allowed), and a health club with one of those pools where you swim and swim and get nowhere. The building is pet-friendly and there is a dog-walking service available. Of course, all the doodads are top-flight—central air, central heat; dishwasher; hardwood floors; washer/dryer—but best of all are the views. An unusual vantage point from which to see the city, to be sure.
