Words of Wisdom for SEPTA

In November, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (aka the SEPTA of Boston) became the first city transport agency to offer ticketing via smartphone—and it's been phenomenally successful. The director of the project said they realized mobile ticketing made more sense than installing new machines: "The last thing we needed in the world was more people with their butt cracks hanging out across Eastern Massachusetts fixing these machines."
