(Dis)organized Labor

Two union protesters charged with assault at the Goldtex construction site—winner of Curbed's Most Embattled Construction Project of 2012 Award—have been sentenced to 18 hours of community service and admitted to a diversionary service, meaning their records may be expunged. The developers at that site "attempted to employ a mix of union and nonunion workers, the first time in decades that anyone had tried to build a major project here without an all-union workforce."
