Open House: Sunday, Jan. 27th, 12pm to 1pm

Our Take: In spite of the pea-soup colored paint in the master bedroom, we think this house is tasteful. The built-in bookshelves and cozy contoured ceiling make the third floor our favorite part of the house. The finished basement and eat-in kitchen make the house feel very spacious. The river tiles on the shower floor are a nice touch.

Open House: Sunday, Jan. 27th, 12pm to 2pm

Our Take: This place is funky in a good way. From the front it's a rather plain brick trinity. The living room is itty-bitty, but we like the stained glass window and the gas fireplace. The kitchen has boring white cabinets and insane asylum lighting. The outdoor spaces are where things get interesting. The roof deck has a porch swing and some kind of pulley for raising?things? We're not sure what that's for. But the Isaiah Zagar mosaic wonderland visible from the roof deck is pretty fun. The house is in the Meredith school catchment, so you will have high-quality education for all the kids you're able to shoehorn into 852 square feet.

Open House: Sunday, Jan. 27th, 3pm to 4pm

Our Take: We're not sure this condo warrants quite as many exclamation points as there are in the description. But it's an inoffensive place in a cute old twin, and the location can't be beat. We like the open living/dining area, and we're suckers for the black-and-white-and-grey simplicity of the bathroom. The kitchen is a bore, but we love the unexpected vermillion wall color in the master bedroom.
