There's Good News, Bad News and UFOs for Atlantic City's Revel

Hello, Revel. Which would you like first: the good news or the bad? Let's start with the bad. The president of the New Jersey State Senate, Steve Sweeney, told NewsWorks he thinks the financial trouble you're in may be fatal.

"I think that they're in a deep hole, and I just don't see it. What I think is going to happen is eventually the investors are going to say, 'The investors are not giving you any more money because this isn't working.' And eventually someone is going to come in and buy it." Between exalted food prices and lackluster perks, Sweeney suggests management doesn't know what it's doing.

"When you listen to the owner and he says no one understands my plan for the business maybe no one understands it because it doesn't make sense." The good news is that people across the world are developing an interest in you, Revel, due to a video of a "UFO". It was taken from a plane window and shows a hovering blue ball—which you'll recognize as the lighted "Pearl" that sits atop your building. But all press is good press, right?
