Palm Beach Philanthropists Relist Haverford Georgian Manor

New, 3 comments

Alan and Kathy Bleznak made Palm Beach their primary residence almost 20 years ago, doing good works and socializing out of a neoclassical mansion that was designed for them by Bunny Williams. Williams also designed Waverly, the five-bedroom, 10,000-square-foot mansion in Haverford that the Bleznaks put on the market for the first time in 2005 at $10 million and was relatively soon reduced to $8.9 million. From there it went this way: $7 million ? $6 million ? $4.95 million ? $4.75 million ? $3.8 million Alan Bleznak originally purchased the home, built in 1925, in 1994 for $580,000.

Interestingly, the "new" listing has an ask of $4.2 million, which is an increase since the last flirtation with the market. You've heard of Pricechopper? This is Pricehopper.
