Tales of the Unexpected: Mayan Arches in Bella Vista

New, 2 comments

Now that the so-called Mayan apocalypse has come and gone, sane human beings can turn their attention to actual Mayan culture and history. And that brings us to Bella Vista, where this 2-bedroom apartment features archways straight out of Ek Balam, Mexico. Even with an unfortunate drop ceiling, an abbreviated kitchen and the lack of laundry facilities, this apartment (what we can see of it from these very odd photos) seems rather winning. It has a little balcony, new hardwood floors and a pleasingly retro feel with black and white tile in the bathroom and shutter-style kitchen cabinets. That big double sink is a serious plus. And the location—11th and Fitzwater, basically—is very convenient.
