FYI Philly's Alicia Vitarelli gets a live look inside the mysterious Hobbit House built for a Tolkien fan who hired architect Peter Archer to build a Bilbo Baggins-style home to accommodate his collections of all things Tolkien. Though the house was photographed beautifully by Emma Lee for Peter Crimmins' Newsworks piece on the house, Vitarelli ducks inside for a real-time experience with Archer. And they do have to duck.
At the same time, an Associated Press report on the home is getting play in newspapers as far away as Wichita, Kansas, but without revealing the name of the homeowner or the exact location of the house—just in case Hobbit film fans would be tempted to pay a visit.
