At yesterday's Grad Hospital zoning meeting, a developer made the case that he deserved zoning variances to put up a 40 unit mixed-use building (with an upscale restaurant or cafe in a large ground-level retail space) in a lot currently used for parking for the Big 8 Supermarket located directly behind it.
